The Military Hospital is a renovation project on the South-East side of Antwerp city. This project used to be the "doctor's house" from the former military hospital in Antwerp. The house was intensively renovated by am designs during 18 months, respecting the existing architecture.
The building is situated at "Groen Kwartier", a neighborhood where you can find the Michelin rated restaurant "The Jane" and the authentic hotel August.
The house currently functions as private showroom of am designs. The interior shows products of high-end brands like Knoll, Vola, Bassam Fellows, Anour... combined with premium furniture of am designs collection. The iconic furniture immediately catch the eye due to the white minimal basis. The house is divided in many rooms, all characterized by the large amount of light and brightness.

am studio
am designs opened a studio on Mechelsesteenweg. The combination of art and design gives customers the ablity to view artworks in a non-traditional gallery environment. The interior is constantly changing with art, design classics and am designs' own furniture and lighting collection.

This former industrial site gives you several choices for a good lunch in a trendy environment. Enjoy a fresh pizza, a Burgundian sandwich or delicious burgers with optional side dishes. While here, you should have a tour guide at the private garden on the rooftop (reservations only).

A former Augustinian convent turned into a contemporary hotel, a must-visit concept in a historical context. The bar and restaurant are led by renowned Michelin star chef Nick Bril (known from The Jane). You can enjoy a fresh, local breakfast at the August shop, or have a take away.
